How to Prep

Set your skin up for success:

  • Arrive Bare-Faced: Please come to your appointment with clean skin and no makeup. This allows us to properly assess your skin and begin the treatment on a fresh surface.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure and Tanning: Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning (natural or artificial) for at least 7–10 days before your treatment. Aerolase® should not be performed on sunburned or recently tanned skin.

  • No Spray Tans or Self-Tanners: Do not use self-tanner or get a spray tan for at least 7 days before treatment, as pigment on the skin’s surface can interfere with the laser.

  • Avoid Hair Removal Methods: Do not wax, thread, tweeze, or use depilatory creams on the area for 1–2 weeks before your session. Shaving is typically recommended 12–24 hours before treatment if needed, depending on the treatment area.

Aftercare & Post-Treatment Tips
